Erin Grueneberg
Hi! I am Erin, (pronouns (she/her/hers). I am in my final year working toward my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am thrilled to be putting all that I have been studying into practice. As a counselor in training, I have a person-centered approach and highly value the therapeutic relationship. My intention is to create a space where the whole self is welcome.
I have over ten years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities and their families, and these relationships were a catalyst for me choosing to become a counselor. My experience leading movement and embodiment workshops is where I became fascinated with the nervous system and each individual’s unique pathway to finding regulation.
I am originally from St. Louis, but moved to a small rural town outside of Columbia, MO seven years ago to spend some time in the country. I found a sense of home in Mid-Missouri and settled here with my small family, two dogs, and herd of five goats. My free time is filled with adventures with my spirited toddler and walks in the woods near my home.
