The Oak Center was formed by four therapists (Clare Bogle, Amber McCartney, Brighton Sanchez, and Amanda Torrini) in December 2020 out of a shared passion to increase access to comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for teens and adults in Central Missouri. To further meet the needs of our community, we also provide other evidence-based counseling services. We will take the time to understand your treatment goals and help you decide which services are right for you. In addition, our team will collaborate with each other on all clients’ care to ensure you receive the most effective treatment available.

Practicum and Internship Opportunities
The Oak Center is dedicated to providing high quality supervision of students pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree who can commit a minimum of nine months to one year (12 consecutive months) to completing their internship or practicum with us.
